We're back from our road trip and settling back into our daily routines again.  I must say, I think this trip was the most fun that I have spent with Kyle!  It was nice just the two of us on the road, laughing dreaming, and living in the moment. I will be sure to post more about the trip and our photos from different roadside attractions we enjoyed along the way.  

When I packed for this trip, knowing that we were going to be beach side for most of the trip, I packed all things red, white, blue, striped, and nautical in my suitcase.  I really had fun picking out my outfits daily from this narrowed down selection of my wardrobe.  While the weather was nice for much of the trip, our stay in Astoria was warm and rainy.  So out came the rain boots and shorts for my outfit this day. I may be biased, but I think it was a winning combination.

While in Astoria we stayed at a lovely little boutique hotel, The Commodore Hotel. The hotel is located right in downtown Astoria amidst some amazing vintage and thrift shops, and very close to the waterfront and nautical museum.  The hotel itself was super cute and very cozy. We will definitely stay there again, anyway, these photos were taken in the hotel lobby before we went out for a night of whiskey and dancing.  So fun!
